Hi, I’m Kirk — the creator of skindēp.
For most of my life, I struggled with eczema and psoriasis. Flare-ups appeared on my temples, face, elbows, and in random patches across my body. They were itchy, sore, scaly, and often embarrassing. Like many people, I cycled through countless creams and treatments that promised relief but only delivered short-term comfort.
Steroid creams helped manage the symptoms, but they never addressed the underlying problem. While there is no cure for eczema or psoriasis, this gift from nature brought me great relief as if I never had these conditions.
About two and a half years ago, I discovered the traditional use of beef tallow for skin health. Intrigued by its nutrient-rich, bioavailable properties, I began researching and experimenting with rendering it myself. What started as curiosity quickly turned into something remarkable.
My skin became calmer, healthier, and more balanced. The hydration from the beef tallow body balm transformed my skin. Friends began commenting on my glow — even at 61.
But this wasn’t just about skincare. It was about skin renewal, reclaiming confidence, dignity, and the simple comfort of feeling good in my own skin.
As I shared my experience with friends, they began trying it too — and many saw similar results. That’s when skindēp stopped being just a personal solution and became a mission.
